No excuses!

"The Bible says all men are without excuse. Even those who are given no good reason to believe and many persuasive reasons to disbelieve have no excuse, because the ultimate reason they do not believe is that they have deliberately rejected God's Holy Spirit.

"William Lane Craig, Reasonable Faith: Christian Truth and Apologetics, (Revised edition, Wheaton, IL: Crossway, 1994), p. 37.

It's a question of submission to the Spirit and the will of the Father in my opinion. Only the work of the Spirit can change a person's heart.

Or can our will supercede the will of the Father? I won't go there except to say that unless God calls you, you can not be saved. And all that the Father gives the Son will not be lost.

I was reading about some Eastern religions where the goal is to empty yourself so that you can be one with nature. Isn't it ironic how the goal of Christianity is to be filled with knowledge and to use all of our faculties to know the Father. How blessed we are to even begin a pursuit of knowing God, and to be on a path of being filled!

i have been bad at reading and blogging for the past week - then i open up todays blog that says "no excuses" - wow, felt convicted. because no matter what "excuse" i could have offered, they really all fall so short. it's about making God a 24/7 priority!

Amen fellas. I truly think it is so important to start your day focusing on Christ instead of jumping right into the grind. If that means going to work 15 mins early or getting up early, it is a MUST. Also probably best to end the day that way as well. I have to admit I am terrible at that.
