Listening and Doing
19 Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry. 20 Human anger does not produce the righteousness God desires. 21 So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls.

I need this imprinted on my forehead. I could really use you guy’s prayers on this one especially with the kids. I find it so easy these days to blow my fuse. My mind keeps going back to the seminar we had from Paul David Tripp and how he discussed that a lot of our anger comes from being inconvenienced. I know that I am not walking down the hall thinking how best to share Christ's grace with the kids. More like I am gonna whip some .............
Father, You have shed more grace on me than anyone deserves. Give me wisdom and patience. Help me have the appropriate response according to what has occurred. Thank You for all You have blessed me with especially KHS and the kids. I truly do not deserve them.
In Christ,

I agree with you cas, and also need it imprinted on my forehead. I need to remember this every five minutes, sometimes more with the slow to speak part.
Fatherhelp each of us to remember this today and each day.
In Jesus name,
Amen
