James 1 v 5-8 (NLT)
5 If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. 6 But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. 7 Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.

Such a powerful verse.
at times I feel so unsettled like the tossed sea. I need to put my faith completely in God. This world has a way of tempting faith but these are the challenges that makes us complete or incomplete. These challenges are put infront of us not by God but by Satan to create that unsettled sea.
I need to find the strength within me.
It is so amazing that we can ask for wisdom. Also intersting that we need to be devoted for it to be effective.
Father strengthen my faitn and give me the wisdom I need so much.

Sometimes, I find myself in this boat, where I want God to help me fix something in my life, but I know that there's a part of me that is a little nervous cause I'm not really ready to give something up or change.
Father, help me to stay focused on you and you alone.

Father, You are generous and full of wisdom. Help me to listen when You share Your wisdom with me. Amen.
