Question: How can we elevate our spiritual game?
37 Peter’s words pierced their hearts, and they said to him and to the other apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?”
38 Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 This promise is to you, and to your children, and even to the Gentiles—all who have been called by the Lord our God.” 40 Then Peter continued preaching for a long time, strongly urging all his listeners, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation!”
41 Those who believed what Peter said were baptized and added to the church that day—about 3,000 in all.

Not sure. I guess my main purpose is to try to help motivate myself to be more "on fire". I am defintely still in the fog mode and want to get jump started. As for the reading today, how cool is that 3000 at once. Also, timeless and ever appropriate the statement "Save yourselves from this crooked generation"

Yup, verse 40 just shows us that there's nothing new under the sun. Thank God we have a Savior!
AFA elevating my game, the answer to me is simple, but the execution is hard - more time in God's Word.

I need more basic discipline.
We are finally devleoping realtionships where God can use us. I need to be in tip top shape to give what I should be able to.
Do I ever pierce any hearts?
I agree about vs. 40. We do live in a crooked world.
I can elevate my spiritual game by being more consistent and discipline. I am making a commitment today to begin by blogging daily.
